Pokemon GO Guide

Training with Team Leaders

The three Team Leaders of Pokemon GO can be challenged at any time by going to the Battle option from the main menu and scrolling all the way down to the bottom. The Team Leaders and the type they specialize in are listed below.

Team Color Type Trainer
Mystic Blue Ice Blanche
Valor Red Fire Candela
Instinct Yellow Electric Spark

After choosing one of the three team leaders, choose one of the three league rules to battle under. There are three leagues, each with their own CP limits. The three Pokemon the Team Leaders use will change depending on the league. Furthermore, although each Trainer is given two shields to protect against charged attacks during each battle, the Team Leaders will not use any shields unless the Pokemon Battle is in the Master League.

League Max CP
Great League 1,500 CP
Ultra League 2,500 CP
Master League No limit

The Pokemon used in battle during Training sessions will not need items to revive or restore their HP. Train as many times as you like. The Pokemon used by the three Team Leaders are listed below. See the Pokemon Battles page for tips and tricks on how to battle.
