This GYM uses primarily Fire Type Pokemon. Fire Types are weak against ground, rock, and water types. They are strong against bug, grass, steel, and ice types. There are 6 trainers plus the GYM Leader. Looks like you have to fight each trainer to get to the GYM Leader. First up is:

Blaine has some high leveled pokemon of the fire types. Magcargo is fire/rock which means he’s double weak to water and ground. Overheat is a very powerful special attack but it lowers their special attack stat to levels each time they use it. That’s where the White Herb comes into play. It heals their stat loss one time. Two have sunny day which will also power up fire type attacks so look out. They also have a few secondary attacks like Magmar’s thunder punch that can take out water type pokemon so be wary. Rapidash’s Bounce may paralyze you too.

When you finished up there you must fly back to Cinnabar. Talk with Blue and he’ll say meet him at the GYM for the final GYM Badge! Head there now.
