Vietnam Weapons

All weapons are separated into certain kits. Each kit has it’s own specialization, whether it’s destroying/repairing vehicles, healing teammates, or scouting enemies. When choosing the perfect gun that suits you, you must choose the right type of stats. In this section I give the statistics on each weapon. There are 4 stats you must know when choosing the right weapon:

Damage
Each gun does a set amount of damage per bullet. Each person has 100 health of course. I list the damage which varies at distance. Distance will be explained more in the next stat. All weapons do 2.1x Damage to the head, with the exception of the M40 Sniper Rifle which does 3.25x Damage to the head, and the 870 shotgun which does 2x Damage. Explosives give a certain amount of damage to vehicles which is different than the amount of damage to people. Regular bullets do not affect vehicles.

Range
As you may have noticed, there are two values for weapon damage. This is because weapon damage is lowered at long range as opposed to close range. Let’s take the M16’s stats for example. The M16 does 13 to 18 damage and has an 18 to 64 meter range. This means that the M16 will do 18 damage per bullet at point blank range up to 18 meters. After 18 meters, the damage will lower all the way down to 13 damage per bullet at 64 meters. The weapon can reach past 64 meters, but the weapon’s damage will not lower any more.

Fire Mode
Each weapon has a certain fire mode that cannot be changed like most of their real life counter parts. This game features Semi Automatic, Fully Automatic, Bolt-Action, Pump-Action, and Single Shot weapons.

Semi Automatic weapons are the weapons that fire one round each time you squeeze the trigger. They are usually more accurate at longer range as opposed to fully automatic weapons.

Fully Automatic weapons are the weapons that fire multiple bullets while holding down the trigger. Full Auto weapons are best as close to medium range. They are not always the most accurate, but you can put a lot of bullets on an enemy in a short amount of time.

Bolt-Action and Pump-Action weapons are the weapons that fire one shot each time you squeeze the trigger, followed by a certain action – bolt or pump – on the weapon to get the next round ready to fire.

Single Shot weapons are the weapons that allow you to take one shot and reload. You will have to reload after every single shot taken.

Rate of Fire
The last stat is the rate of fire. Each weapon has a certain rate of fire that allows you to put a certain amount of bullets on your target. This amount is measured in rounds per minute, or RPM. There is nothing you can do about fully automatic weapon’s rate of fire since it’s set. Semi Automatic weapon’s rate of fire can vary depending on how fast you pull the trigger. However, even semi automatic weapon’s have a RPM limit that it cannot exceed.

Vietnam Gadgets

Depending on the kit you choose, you will have access to two gadgets. You can use either gadget at any time in game. Some may need reload/cool down time. Remember to use the back/select spot button to ask for assistance. If you are low on ammo and you see someone using the assault kit, click the spot button on your team mate to tell them to drop an ammo box.

Vietnam Assault Kit Gadgets

Ammo Box
Drop a box of ammo to resupply anyone. The box’s resupply can reach up to 3 Meters. Most weapons resupply one magazine at a time after 1.5 seconds, but explosives take longer. Each box can resupply 10 times before disappearing. If you drop another box while the first box is still in the map, the first box will disappear.

The grenade must travel a short distance to explode.

Vietnam Engineer Kit Gadgets

Blowtorch
A repair tool used to repair friendly vehicles and damage enemy vehicles. Repairs about 93 vehicle health a second. The blowtorch will overheat if used for 6 consecutive seconds. Can be used to kill enemies.

RPG-7 AT
Single Shot Rocket Launcher
1 RPG + 3 Extra. 7 Extra with Explosives Upgrade.
100 Damage / 360 Vehicle Damage
6 Meter Blast Radius. Lethal in 1.9 Meters.
5 Second Reload Time.

AT Mine
Drop a mine that detonates when vehicles driver over them, or when shot.
1 AT Mine + 2 Extra. 5 Extra with Explosives Upgrade.
290 Damage / 865 Vehicle Damage
8 Meter Blast Radius. Lethal in 5.9 Meters.

Vietnam Medic Kit Gadgets

Medic Kit
Drop a medic kit to heal anyone nearby. Heals 10 health per second and reaches up to 3.5 Meters. After healing 20 times (200 health), the kit will disappear. If you have a medic kit somewhere on the map and want to drop a second kit, the first kit will disappear.

Syringe
Use the syringe to revive any teammate. It takes 3 seconds to cool down before you can revive another teammate.

Vietnam Recon Kit Gadgets

Mortar Strike
Use binoculars to mark a location for mortar strike. It takes 3 seconds to lock on to a location for the strike, then you must wait 60 seconds to cool down before you can call in another. Each mortar strike drops 8 mortars that do 200 damage within 1 meter, damage dissipates out to 6 meters.

TNT
Drop one of 3 explosives which can stick to almost any surface. After dropping, you must remote detonate the explosives. Does 865 damage to vehicles and 290 damage to infantry within 6 meters, damage dissipates out to 8 meters.
1 + 2 Extra. 5 Extra with Explosives Upgrade.

Vietnam All Kits Gadgets

Hand Grenade
Throw a frag grenade with a 3 second fuse. You can hold them as long as you want, the frag will not explode until you throw it. Does 110 damage to infantry and 33 damage to vehicles within 2.9 meters, damage dissipates out to 8 meters.
1 Hand Grenade at a time. 2 with Grenade Upgrade.

Combat Knife
The combat knife is a one hit kill melee attack. It takes about 1.5 seconds to activate after pressing the attack. Best used when behind an enemy.
