In Halo Reach you have the ability to customize your character more than ever before. You use a new credit system labeled as “cR” to buy new items or upgrades on your character. Most of the stuff you buy is for show such as armor. You start the game off with 2000 cR, but I got an extra 5000 cR boost for a bonus. However, the game didn’t say why I got the bonus. I will list everything you can buy and how much it costs. Some items need certain pre requisites and cR.

I will give the name of the armor or item, how to unlock it, and the in game description of the item. For the helmet pieces that are attached to the base helmet, I did not underline them and I give the base helmet name with a colon at the end (Mark V: UA

Helmet

The helmet is the only piece of armor that lets you buy a base set and extra upgrade pieces. The upgrade pieces are usually small things that attach to the side of the helmet. They are:
