Even more funny AKBingo Gifs! 11 to be exact from the awesome Japanese variety show, AKBingo.
For those that don’t know, AKBingo is an incredibly funny variety show that stars the Japanese idol group AKB48. Sometimes their sub groups, like SKE48, may appear. It’s usually hosted by the comedy duo “The Bad Boys.” Sometimes the girls complete challenges, other times pranks are done to each other. Every once in awhile they will have emotional episodes where back stories are told by select members, or sexy episodes where they sort of cosplay.
I love the show so much I recently created some animated gifs from select episodes. Unfortunately, YouTube has gone gang busters recently and started deleting a ton of episodes.

These AKBingo Gifs were taken from episode 101 and a little beyong. I’ll give a little description below each one to put it in context.
In this episode, several lesser known members of AKB48 challenged the more popular members of the show. The last one standing would be on more episodes. This challenge was a Russian Roulette style challenge. If the balloon popped, that person would lose. Yuko Oshima hates balloons.This was Yuko Oshima’s reaction when they introduced the balloon gun for the Russian Roulette style game.In this episode, several girls were set in a line. They had to give short hints to the last girl relating to a word or object. Some words were taboo It’s basically like the card game Taboo. If the last girl doesn’t guess right, she gets a face full of….. whatever this stuff is. It’s like a fire extinguisher.In this episode, the girls tried to improve their luck after their palms were read. This was one purification technique from a man named Bibiko. He performed it on the AKB48 member Kasai Tomomi.This is Minami Minegishi. I forgot what she said here, but she gave a little grin afterwords that was very gif worthy.Directly after that last gif, Bibiko “purified” Minegishi in yet another unusual way.A magician was brought onto this episode to teach one girl (Yuko Oshima) a short magic trick. First he performed one of his own.Yuko Oshima’s reaction was so good, I had to add it as its own gif.In this episode, the girls played dodgeball. The one who gets hit with a dodgeball has to do some tough or nasty challenge. This is how the dodgeballs are brought out.For this challenge, one girl needed to pull a pillow out from under her while remaining on the pile.For this challenge, one girl had to hold a large rubber band in her mouth while one of the bad boys pulled it as far back as he could.
