The Shin Megami Tensei IV guide now has one of three main paths complete!

I’ve been working on Shin Megami Tensei IV for a month now. For those that don’t know, SMT is a Japanese RPG where you befriend demons to fight other demons. You can then fuse some of the demons together to make even stronger demons! There’s also a huge story that ties the game together, of course.

The SMT main series has been dormant for ten years since SMT III: Nocturne on PlayStation 2. SMT IV released in July, and is only available on the Nintendo 3DS. The graphics aren’t the best, but there are a ton of demons and quite a bit of dialogue that moves the story along. You’re even able to go down three paths towards the end of the game: Law, Neutral, or Chaos.

The guide now has one of the three main paths complete, and there are many pages for the demons I have found. There’s also a great starter guide and quick guides for the many challenge quests. Give it a look see at IGN’s Shin Megami Tensei IV Wiki if you’re playing. If you’re not playing, maybe you should pick it up? I got the limited edition from Amazon and did an unboxing on YouTube. I don’t know if the promotion is still going, but they were giving away $30 in Nintendo Store Money for people who registered SMT IV and Fire Emblem Awakening on Club Nintendo. I wanted to give Fire Emblem a go, but I have too many games to work on and play already.
