Operator Tips
Ying is a well balanced Operator. Her unique ability is a multiple flash bang that can be tossed or mounted on breakable surfaces and sent through the other end like a debilitating Fuze. Use them to blind the enemies in an Objective room before rushing in.
Unique Ability
Ying’s unique ability is the Candela, a cluster of flash charges that can either be anchored on surfaces or rolled out similar to a grenade. Seven flash grenades will detonate from the Candela: 1 at floor level, 2 at hip level, and 3 at eye level. They have the ability to blind both enemy and friendly Operators near the explosion, but Ying’s goggles prevent her from being blinded. Three Candelas will be available per round.
To roll out the Candela, simply press or hold the ability button. The longer you hold it, the longer it will take to detonate. 1-3 bars will fill up on the middle of the screen while holding the equipment, notifying you of the detonation time.
The Candela can also be mounted on breakable surfaces, sending the flash charges through the wall and out the other end. This is a great way to temporarily stun enemies defending the objective. To mount the Candela on the wall, hold it in your hand and walk over to a destructible surface until the crosshair changes. Release the unique ability button after the crosshair changes to mount it on the surface.
