Medicine

Medicine includes a number of essential items for Pokemon. Buy enough to heal the team while traveling between towns. All of these are man-made items, so they cannot be used by Pokemon when held.

HP / PP Restore Items

These items restore Hit Points (HP) and Power Points (PP) in and out of battle. Since they are man made, they cannot be used by Pokemon when held.

Most HP items can be bought at Poke Marts after earning new badges. Fresh Water, Soda Pop, and Lemonade are often bought from vending machines. The PP restoring items cannot be bought anywhere, only found

Status Restore Items are items that cure various status conditions. Since they are man made, they cannot be used by Pokemon when held. Most can be bought at Poke Marts after clearing gyms.

Vitamins

Vitamins are a number of items that increases a Pokemon’s level, PP for a move, or effort value points. The Medicine that increases effort value points can increase the values up to 100 points on one Stat, or until a Pokemon reaches 510 total EVs across all stats.

Ability Capsule 200 BP A one-time use item that allows you to switch the ability of a single Pokemon. This will not allow you to switch to hidden abilities, nor will it work on Pokemon with a hidden ability.
Calcium 9,800 Calcium adds 10 Effort Value points to the Special Attack stat. Only a max of 10 can be used on one Pokemon.
Carbos 9,800 Carbos adds 10 Effort Value points to the Speed stat. Only a max of 10 can be used on one Pokemon.
HP Up 9,800 HP Up adds 10 Effort Value points to the Hit Points stat. Only a max of 10 can be used on one Pokemon.
Iron 9,800 Iron adds 10 Effort Value points to the Defense stat. Only a max of 10 can be used on one Pokemon.
Protein 9,800 Protein adds 10 Effort Value points to the Attack stat. Only a max of 10 can be used on one Pokemon.
PP Max N/A Permanently increases a move's PP to the max.
PP Up N/A Permanently increases a move's PP by 20%. Only three can be used on a move.
Rare Candy N/A Increases a Pokemon's level by one.
Zinc 9,800 Zinc adds 10 Effort Value points to the Special Defense stat. Only a max of 10 can be used on one Pokemon.

Wings

Wings, like select vitamins increase the effort value points of your Pokemon. Unlike the vitamin counter-parts, they won’t stop working at 100 EVs.
