Head down the ladder and go all the way left as far as you can. She’ll be in a corner. When you find her you’ll return to her grandpa. You’ll receive a Metal Coat from the man. Then the ship arrives in Vermilion! Head off the ship into the new world!

Vermilion City

When you leave the ship and head towards the town you’ll find Eusine and Suicune again. Both will run off real quick. If you go to the right to try to go to Route 11 you’ll find a Snorlax blocking the way. The only way to go is to Vermilion and up. There is a pokemon center at the top left corner of the city. The PokeMart is towards the middle of town. It has the usual stuff now. I don’t believe anything new can be added. You can surf in the water around the port to find a Luck Incense. Head to the Pokemon Fan Club which is two houses Left of the PokeMart. Talk to the chairman and tell him you want to hear about his pokemon. Hear him out and you’ll get a rare candy. After all that there’s only one thing left to do in Vermilion!

Vermilion City GYM

The Vermilion GYM is in the South West corner of the city. They use primarily Electric Type Pokemon. Electric pokemon are weak to ground and strong against water types. There are three trainers in the GYM and the Leader. In the GYM are tons of trash cans. In two of them are switches to open the gate to the GYM Leader. If you find one but don’t find the second then the first will lock again and switch places. You’ll have to find both of them in order. The second is usually right next to the first. The trainers are in this order from left to right:

This Electrode is different from the first. You may not be able to tell which is which. It may still use double team so you can’t hit it but it will also use screech to lower your defense and if it wants it will selfdestruct killing itself and giving you a hard physical attack.

Attacks:
-Supersonic (Normal/Other)
-Double Team (Normal/Other)
-Shock Wave (Electric/Special)
-Mirror Shot (Steel/Special)

Type:Electric
Ability:Static
Attacks:
-Shock Wave (Electric/Special)
-Quick Attack (Normal/Physical)
-Low Kick (Fighting/Physical)

Electabuzz has a sitrus berry to restore little health. Low Kick is a fighting type move that does more damage on heavier pokemon. Light screen will protect him against special attacks somewhat. Then there’s shock wave again, a special electric attack that never misses. Quick attack always hits first but isn’t too strong.

The next thing to do is go North to Route 6. Your next destinations is Saffron City.
