Way in the basemen you’ll find a trainer named Karate King. If you defeat him he’ll give you a rare pokemon named “Tyrogue.” So make sure you have an empty slot open. This pokemon can evolve into Hitmonchan (Defense is Higher Than Attack at Lv20), Hitmonlee (Attack is Higher Than Defense at Lv20), or Hitmontop (Attack is equal to Defense at Lv20) depending on it’s attack and defense stats.

Mahogany Town

Home of the Ninja

There’s not much you can do in Mahogany Town, and even less at the start. If you try to head East a man will stop you and will sell you Rage Candy Bars for P300. In one of the buildings is a small market. They only sell Potion (P300), Pokeballs (P200), and TinyMushrooms (P500). You can’t enter the GYM just yet. Next head North to Route 43.
