I’ve Seen Enough Hetai to Know Where This is Going is a phrase used in images or in response to videos involving octopus, squid, tentacles or anything resembling tentacles. It’s in reference to the trope of tentacle rape commonly found in Hentai.
Hentai is a Japanese word meaning pervert, and is also used for pornographic animation (Anime) and comics (Manga) from Japan.
According to Know Your Meme, the phrase became popular around 2011 when posted on an animated batman gif. However, tentacle pornography has been around for hundreds of years, and can even be seen in The Dream of the Fisherman’s Wife from 1814 (Although the link takes you to Wikipedia, there are pornographic images on the page!).
