Sword Art Online II is the sequel to the incredibly popular Sword Art Online anime. Most would say it’s not as good as the first, but it’s not incredibly horrible. I’d say it’s mediocre. There are MAJOR SPOILERS in the gifs below. If you haven’t seen the anime, do not scroll down! Like usual, I created all of these animated gifs myself. This anime’s main antagonist is Death Gun.

Of course, our main protagonist, Kirito, returns. But he looks like a girl…

Kirito still kicks ass with speed, agility, and a beam saber.
There’s quite a bit of slow motion in this anime.
Kirito being bad ass. This death actually went on for about 30 seconds.
Sinon missing her sniper shot, causing a massive explosion. Of course Kirito does’t move an inch. BA….
Kirito slicing bullets becomes incredibly common throughout the show. It sort of loses its edge after awhile.
Eh, it’s still pretty cool.
He’s like a jedi.
The second half of the anime in ALO is huge change, just like the first season. Kirito sort of reinvents Starburst Stream.

You can’t have an ending or opening without Sakura and a gentle wind. This was my best attempt at a complete, looping gif.
